Come on, the 39-year-old Russsian winger is just 21 goals away from eclipsing Gretsky's NHL record of most goals ever! Yes...894 goals, and many of them spectacular efforts. At his age, he still has the most accurate, hard slapshot in the world and he plays with great passion and leadership every night! He has also won a Stanley Cup with the Washington Capitals and numerous world and junior championships! This guy is a legend. Social media listmaker, I like your top five....but any of the bottom five could be replaced by Ovechkin! Boomers....sorry, my morning hockey rant.
