Today is your day Boomer! Patience pays off Boomers. My wife and I were in the market for a newish travel trailer and we waited over six months to finally get one! Here it is....in the picture, a light, quality-made Winnibego with only 6 years of life on it. In almost perfect shape at a very reasonable price and another friendly Boomer to deal with. We looked and looked, then looked again, and almost settled a few times for something that was good, but not great, for us! We checked all the online sites: Autotrader, Kijiji, Castanet, Craigslist, and Marketplace numerous times and did a few in-person visits. The moral of the story is this: don't give up, keep looking, and don't get frustrated because there was always a few new trailers listed the very next day! We had lots of choice, and I think, I hope.....we got it right! Now we rejoin the camping rat race: the high cost of gas, the competition for camp spaces, the campfire bans, the pricey campsites, and noisy neighbours. But it will be worth it.
