Today is your day Boomer! As we near the end of winter, it is time to start thinking about fishin' Boomers. Yup, I did last week and was able to snag some new insulated hip waders for $100 off! You can get deals at this time of year on stuff that didn't sell last summer. Shop around and check it out. As well, now is the time to buy fishing lures before they sell out...especially the popular salmon and trout spinners, flies, and spoons. But mostly the fun is the total experience of fishin', in nature, and with your family and buddies. And oh, the odd cold one and Twizzlers. Cheers!

One 62-year-old Boomer says "Every time I walk, I just do a little twirl and walk backwards for a bit, and I'll do it just a few times during my walk." It may look a little unusual and may get a few laughs from passersby....by consider the actual benefits. Clinical exercise specialist André Noël Potvin says "When you start to walk backwards, you actually start to rebalance the forces around the ankle, knee, hip and lower back." This really helps Boomers recovering from knee surgery and older Boomers who are havi...
