Today is your day Boomer! I took a run at extremist politics in Germany yesterday, so how about a little American government today? He is a longshot....a Democrat like his famous uncle JFK, but Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is taking a run at the US presidency. Like Justin Trudeau in Canada, he is obviously using name recognition from his family(Justin's father was Pierre, long-time PM of our nation) to gain votes during the "primary" presidential process down south. His famous uncle, of course, was president in the 1960s....and his Dad, RFK, was a senator, attorney general, and confidant/advisor to John during the scary Cuban Missle Crisis in 1962! Ahhh, Boomers, don't you just love American politics!?

One 62-year-old Boomer says "Every time I walk, I just do a little twirl and walk backwards for a bit, and I'll do it just a few times during my walk." It may look a little unusual and may get a few laughs from passersby....by consider the actual benefits. Clinical exercise specialist André Noël Potvin says "When you start to walk backwards, you actually start to rebalance the forces around the ankle, knee, hip and lower back." This really helps Boomers recovering from knee surgery and older Boomers who are havi...
