Everyone, this is called "rule of law"....it is in the American constitution, which is a big book of rules that "everyone" in the U.S. must follow. Trump's court case involving him trying to overturn the 2020 presidential election results is going before the U.S. Supreme Court very soon, and guess what Donald...it is a very BIG uphill battle for you! Here is what two of the justices have already stated in the recent past:(1) "Stated simply, the primary takeaway from the past 250 years of recorded American history is that Presidents are not kings.” (2)"The law applies equally to all persons, including a person who happens for a period of time to occupy the Presidency." But Trump has an argument of course. According to The Associated Press, here it is: "Trump’s lawyers argue that former presidents are entitled to absolute immunity for their official acts. Otherwise, they say, politically motivated prosecutions of former occupants of the Oval Office would become routine and presidents couldn't function as the commander in chief if they had to worry about criminal charges." Oh boy....what balarkey! This is another reason why Trump and his BIG ego must not be elected again. Good luck America...
