Today is your day Boomer! I write this blog from my bed as I recover from my first, and hopefully last, case of COVID. It is not pleasant....the coughing, aching head, dizziness, sore throat, and low energy keeps you sidelined....if you are lucky...for about a week. I am just starting to feel a little better; but what about all those people that have long-term COVID, and worse, those who died? Boomers, get your shots and take great care in large-gathering situations. Cheers--and here's to your good health in this increasingly-indoor, fall-winter season!

He showed me the supreme importance of family gatherings, how to flyfish...even when he was colour blind....how to use tools, play high-level bridge, eat organic foods, he taught me how to drive....even though I ruined the transmission on our old car....he showed me how to sail, save and invest money, have an appreciation for nature, he was a role model for me as I moved through heart/s
